Specialties

While the areas below are some of my main areas of focuses, they’re certainly not the only things we can work on together! Whether you’re navigating ADHD, grief, depression, a big life transition, or just feeling a little stuck, there’s room for that here, too.

ADHD
Anxiety / OCD
Self-Esteem

Anxiety

Anxiety can feel like your brain never really gets a day off. Maybe you’re always anticipating what could go wrong, feeling overwhelmed by your to-do list, or putting pressure on yourself to keep all the plates spinning. You might struggle to relax, feel constantly on edge, have trouble sleeping, or notice your mind jumping straight to worst-case scenarios. Even when things are going well, it can be hard to slow down and enjoy the moment.

In therapy, we’ll work together to understand what’s keeping you stuck, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and practice making room for uncomfortable feelings while taking action based on your values. Drawing from CBT, ACT, psychodynamic, and person-centered approaches, we’ll build practical coping skills, explore recurring patterns, and help you feel more grounded, confident, and connected to yourself.

OCD

Anxiety and OCD have a lot of overlap, but OCD can feel like a never-satisfied gremlin on your shoulder, constantly whispering "but what if...?" and convincing you that you need to do something to make the doubt go away. OCD often involved obsessions, which are unwanted, intrusive thoughts, images, or urges that cause distress, and compulsions, which are behaviors or mental rituals you feel driven to do to ease that distress or find certainty. You might find yourself repeatedly checking, seeking reassurance, mentally reviewing situations, or feeling like you need something to be just right before you can move on.

In therapy, we'll work on changing your relationship with intrusive thoughts and building tolerance for uncertainty. Using evidence-based approaches, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), we'll practice facing fears without relying on compulsions, helping you spend less time caught in OCD cycles and more time living your life.

ADHD

ADHD can feel like playing life on hard mode. Maybe you struggle to focus long enough to finish a book, remember why you walked into a room, or get started on a task without getting sidetracked by five others. Between procrastination, time blindness, and decision paralysis, everyday responsibilities can feel overwhelming, especially when your brain seems to have 37 tabs open at once.

In therapy, we’ll work together to better understand how ADHD shows up in your life and find strategies that work with your brain, not against it. Through executive functioning coaching, we’ll focus on skills like planning, organization, time management, getting started on tasks, and following through. We’ll also explore the frustration or self-doubt that can build over time, helping you develop more self-compassion and create routines that feel realistic and sustainable for you.

Self-Esteem

It can be exhausting to constantly wonder if you’re enough. Maybe you find yourself questioning whether people genuinely like you, worrying about how you come across, or comparing your appearance to others. You might feel pressure to always be doing more, struggle to feel comfortable in your body, or find yourself looking for signs that you’re wanted, valued, and chosen. Maybe you’re still figuring out who you are, what you enjoy, or what makes you you outside of other people’s expectations.

In therapy, we’ll explore the beliefs and experiences that shape how you see yourself, work toward a more compassionate relationship with yourself, and help you build a sense of self-worth that feels less dependent on external validation. The goal isn’t to become someone who never doubts herself, but to feel more comfortable being yourself, even when you don’t have everyone’s approval.

Relationships

IMG_1127.JPG

We’re often fed the idea that love should come easily, that finding “the one” will make everything fall into place, and that the right relationships shouldn’t be so hard. But real relationships are a little messier than that. Whether you’re navigating dating, working through conflict with a partner, feeling disconnected from friends, or figuring out family dynamics, relationships can bring up a lot of uncertainty, emotions, and self-doubt.

In therapy, I’ll be in your corner as we explore your relationship patterns, build communication skills, and help you feel more confident navigating difficult conversations and conflict. Together, we’ll work toward relationships that feel more fulfilling and help you take action that aligns with your values, whether that means showing up as the partner or friend you want to be, setting boundaries with family, or making more room for connection in your life.

Perfectionism

Being a perfectionist can feel like you're constantly striving to be better while struggling to feel good about where you are. Maybe you have big dreams but find yourself procrastinating because you're afraid of getting it wrong, take feedback as a sign that you've failed, or feel guilty whenever you're not being productive. You might hold yourself to impossibly high standards, struggle to give yourself a break, or feel like no accomplishment is ever quite enough.

In therapy, we'll work together to build your confidence, loosen the grip of perfectionism, and learn to approach mistakes and feedback with greater flexibility and self-compassion. You don't have to choose between appreciating who you are today and working toward who you want to become. My goal is to help you feel supported in pursuing your dreams while making room for rest, growth, and the understanding that your worth isn't something you have to earn.
